Student Assistance Specialist/Counselor

STARS supports our schools and communities by assisting students with their social and emotional barriers to learning. Student Assistance Specialists (SAS) serve students through alcohol/drugs & violence prevention/intervention programs. SAS work a 10 month school schedule (school hours) with some after-school service learning projects. We have the following full-time & part-time openings:
Williamson County - Hillsboro H.S. - 3 days Williamson County - Brentwood M.S. - 4 days Williamson County - Page H.S. - 4 days Davidson County - 2 Full-time positions Cheatham County - Cheatham Academy - 5 days BS degree in counseling, social work, psychology or social service related field req., MS degree preferred. 3+ yrs exp. working in youth social service field req.
