DJ Prez Is Ready For His Prezidential Campaign. What do you get when you have a super ambitious DJ mixed with superb leadership qualities? The ending result, Chattanooga, TN native Derrick Pasley a.k.a DJ PrezDJ Prez is a newcomer in the game. He's only been DJing for a little over a year, but don't let his short time as a DJ fool you. Dedicated to his craft, Prez has steadily made a major name for himself in the state of Tennessee. He has already put out over ten mixtapes in his short DJing career. Prez has also been featured in Ozone Magazine (issue #77, page 41, photo with DJ Drama) as well as in Concrete Magazine.
His mixtape series, CR-1, CR-2, and CR-3, have allowed him to grow a nice fan base. With thousands of listens and downloads on Datpiff.com and Limelinx.com, Prez has established himself as an upcoming force in the South. He has also gained the support of Down South artists such as Kia Shine, Travis Porter, All Star, Drumma Boy, Pule, PAT, Mike Scruggs, and I.V. He's also collaborated with 101.1 The Beat (Nashville) and Power 94 (Chattanooga). As you can see, the homie grinds hard.
DJ Prez is also a party promoter, bartender, emcee, photographer, and Co-CEO of G2dotEdu. He also holds down 88.3 FM in Murfreesboro, TN with Tatiana & Culture Shock Magazine every Tuesday night. Prez can also be seen spinning at some of the hottest clubs in Nashville such as Bar Fly's, The Place Martini Bar, Atlantis, Center Stage, Limelight, and The Miro District just to name a few.
