DJ SPADE aka 'Da Mixtape Slanga' was born in Nashville, Tennessee. With over 18 years of experience, DJ SPADE has been a major influence to the urban music movement in Nashville, Tennesse.. DJ SPADE's first taste of djing came at the early age of 13, when he started showing a presence in
local clubs. He later teamed up with DJ Kurious to form a duo that could not be stopped. DJ SPADE is known for his raw energy in clubs and his arsenal of mix cds. His DMS Mix CD Series is a marketing tool that features exclusive songs and freestyles geared toward gaining exposure for artist and corporations. The DMS CDs has been hosted by an array of
national and local artists such as: Big Boi, 8Ball & MJG, Young Dro, Yung La, Boosie & Webbie, Yung Joc, Allstar, Yo Gotti, David Banner, and Grandaddy Souf. DJ SPADE has also ventured to every aspect of the music industry from starting a successful graphic design company (Manor Graphix) to launching a professional CD duplication service ( Designer House Media). His future goals are to help establish Nashville as a major player in the music industry and to thrive as a DJ and business owner.
