Gary Whitlow II

Gary Whitlow II, aka 'g2' or 'Gary Steven' is a Memphis native that matriculated from Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned his bachelors in Marketing. While at MTSU he was involved in several clubs and later became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, where he served as president in his senior year. He currently is an Account Executive for Careerbuilder.com and resides in Atlanta, Ga.

Gary has an affection for music and was introduced to the nightlife at an early age. His father was a DJ at several local nightclubs in Memphis. After learning the business, he began partnering with local promoters and hosting his own events. Since then he has gone on to promote several events throughout the southeast region. When it comes to nightlife, he is passionate about exposing individuals to new experiences. His personal adage is 'WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER' which is why Gary's most recent focus has been on growing his 's newest event, Taste Maker. Taste Maker is an event geared to young professionals in an ongoing plight for success. The event takes place in some of Nashville's most elite venues.

As for the future, Gary plans to continue building the g2 brand and being a steward of his community.
