What makes a gentleman a gentleman? Many people pose this very question to Martez Burks, author of Memoirs of a Gentleman.

As a self proclaimed gentleman, Burks attributes majority of his knowledge and understanding of what a gentleman represents to his own personal experiences.

Martez has lived the life of a hustler, entrepreneur, go-getter, distinguished Nashville, TN man, trend setter, live wire, achiever, self-starter, and high flier while making moves in the melting-pot of the entertainment industry as an event promoter with FlyMajor.com.

His life as a gentleman consists of ongoing meetings with who's who of urban elite Nashville society and interactions with a lot of women. 'Giving into temptation is a typical occurrence in my line of work' thus the motivation for his newly published book Memoirs of a Gentleman.

Martez is currently a Graduate student at Tennessee State University, pursuing his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Upon graduation, Martez hopes to earned his Doctorate Degree and make the New York Time's Best Sellers list.
